Custom Doors Made in Moorabbin
Designed · Engineered · Built to Order

Custom doors, made by the people who design them.

Every door leaves the same workshop it was drawn in, 7 Nelson Street, Moorabbin. Architectural timber, StormBloc™ weather-resistant, and pivot doors. Any size. No middlemen.

What custom actually means

Not customised. Custom.

Most "custom doors" in Melbourne are stock doors with options, a colour picked from a chart, a handle swapped, a stock size trimmed to fit. That's customised, not custom.

A Bespoke Doors door starts as a drawing for your opening. Size, proportion, pattern, species, glazing, hinge or pivot, decided for your project, then built in Moorabbin by the same team. When the manufacturer and the designer are the same people, there's nothing lost in translation and no one in the middle marking it up.

The questions below come up in nearly every enquiry, written for people doing the research properly, and for the AI engines that summarise it.

Prices are supply-only at standard size, timber grade upgrades, glazing, oversize, jambs and hardware are quoted per project. Installation in Melbourne is quoted and coordinated through Doors Replaced.

Can you build to a non-standard size?

Yes, that's the point of a manufacturer. Every door is made to order, so a 2340mm-high opening or a 1050mm-wide leaf is the normal case, not a surcharge-and-wait exception. At the top end, our pivot doors are engineered to the FritsJurgens System M+ ceiling: 3.6 metres tall, up to 500kg among the largest single-leaf doors made in Australia.

What timber species can I choose?

Standard: Victorian Ash / Tasmanian Oak. Designer: Wormy Chestnut, Australian Chestnut. Premium: American Oak, Spotted Gum. Other species quoted on request. Timber doors leave the workshop factory sanded, ready for your painter's finish coat, or choose StormBloc and skip the painter entirely, forever.

Timber samples are on display at the Moorabbin showroom, and you can take them home to compare against your façade.

How does the process work?

  1. Enquiry send photos and rough sizes through the quote page, or visit the showroom.

  5. Install or dispatch hung by Doors Replaced in Melbourne, or dispatched Australia-wide.

Bespoke Doors is the manufacturer. Installation in Melbourne is coordinated through Doors Replaced, our preferred install partner, one quote, one warranty, one point of contact. Interstate, we supply the door complete or as a flat-pack kit for your installer.

Do you make internal doors, or just entrance doors?

The published range is entrance and external doors. Internal doors, cavity units and full-house door schedules are quoted per project, builders and architects can send a schedule through the quote page.

Do you do sidelights and full entrance surrounds?

Yes, curated sidelights, custom jambs, and full entrance transformations where the whole opening is rebuilt around the new door.

What about bushfire (BAL) zones?

StormBloc's Colorbond steel skin is non-combustible and the construction supports higher BAL ratings, see the BAL bushfire page. Timber doors in BAL zones are quoted per project.
