Vertical Vic Ash batten on a clean rebated reveal — a calm, contemporary entrance built to scale with the home.
The Balwyn brief was an entrance that read calm and contemporary against a quieter facade — no big timber statement, no fussy detailing. We worked off a clean rebated reveal and made the door the only feature.
The face is solid Vic Ash with a vertical batten profile. The pattern reads consistent end-to-end, the timber tones lift the entry without overpowering it, and the dark reveal frames the warmth of the timber.
It's the same family as the architectural EVEN — solid timber core, battens applied on top — just sized and fitted to suit this opening. The result is something that fits the house instead of competing with it.
