Doncaster is a renovation entrance — original red-brick facade, contemporary upgrade. The owners wanted the new door to feel modern without fighting the architecture of the existing house.
We built a Vic Ash NORTH lining-board door, vertical profile, sized to the opening. The jamb was painted black to frame the Vic Ash and pull the door forward visually against the brick. Hardware is recessed and minimal so the door face is the only feature.
It's a quiet contrast — warm timber on one axis, painted jamb on the other, original brick all around. The result is a renovation entry that reads as part of a considered upgrade, not as a contemporary door dropped onto a 1970s home.
