American Oak NORTH — Mornington entrance reimagined.

The Mornington brief was an entrance upgrade for a home that had grown into itself but still had its original timber entry — narrower, darker, and from a different era of the house.

We built an American Oak NORTH lining-board door at a wider format, supplied factory-sanded for the painter. American Oak takes finish beautifully and the lining-board profile reads as restrained and contemporary without being cold.

Sidelight on the hinge side, dark architrave painted to frame the timber. The result is a front entry that feels like part of the house — warm, intentional, and the right size for the architecture.
