Four-metre pivot — engineered with EverFrame™ for the height.

A builder approached us with an unusual brief — a 4-metre tall pivot door, integrated with the existing aluminium jamb framing on a contemporary build. Doors at that height need engineering attention or they sag, drag, and warp out of true within a year.

The face is Vic Ash NORTH lining boards in vertical profile. Internally, the door is reinforced with our EverFrame™ steel system — that's what stops timber doors of this height twisting. Mounted on a FritsJurgens System One pivot rated for the weight and the lever-arm.

Brush seals run the full perimeter. The installation involved high-access work and tight integration with the existing aluminium framing — every clearance had to be exact for the door to swing cleanly through its full arc.

What landed is a dramatic architectural entrance at the scale the build deserved, operating the way a door this size has to operate.
